The SDF stated, in a statement issued today to the public, that the agreement stipulated the entry of Damascus government forces into the two cities after its forces had completed their withdrawal from them. However, the transitional government proceeded to enter before the withdrawal of SDF fighters was completed, which the SDF described as creating a highly dangerous situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Syrian Democratic Forces called on the international powers sponsoring the agreement to intervene urgently to ensure compliance with its provisions and prevent the deterioration of conditions on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this context, since the early morning hours, the Syrian Democratic Forces have begun implementing a redeployment operation from the contact areas east of Aleppo toward areas east of the Euphrates, in accordance with a decision by the military leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, had announced in a tweet on his official account on the \u201cX\u201d platform the decision to redeploy forces from the contact areas that have been subjected to attacks for two days, clarifying that the operation would begin this morning at seven o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
