In a statement, the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces said that factions affiliated with the transitional government are using tanks and artillery to shell the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, holding what it described as \u201cundisciplined factions\u201d responsible for the ongoing escalation for nearly four months, through imposing a siege and carrying out attacks against civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement added that the shelling of residential neighborhoods, as it put it, is the result of the movements of those factions, particularly in western and northern Aleppo, noting that rockets are being launched from military positions affiliated with them and along clear trajectories toward the city\u2019s neighborhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
