In an interview with the Turkish channel \u201c\u00dclke,\u201d Fidan stated that the ongoing negotiations aim to find a common formula that ensures stability in Syria and prevents the escalation of tensions in the northern and eastern regions of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Turkish minister pointed out that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are \u201cdelaying\u201d the implementation of the March 10 agreement signed between the Syrian transitional president and the general commander of the SDF, explaining that the failure to implement the agreement\u2019s provisions has led to the suspension of institution-building activities and a shift of efforts toward crisis management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a related context, Fidan quoted the Foreign Minister of the Syrian Transitional Government, Asaad Al-Shaibani, as saying that the absence of the SDF from state institutions \u201cdeepens internal division,\u201d emphasizing that integrating them into the national framework is a fundamental step toward achieving stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fidan affirmed that Syria does not pose a threat to Israel or any other party, stressing the necessity for \u201ceveryone to respect its borders and for no one to interfere in the affairs of others.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that Turkey is handling the Syrian issue \u201cwith great care,\u201d noting that any security policy aimed at dividing Syria or creating chaos is dangerous\u2014not only for Damascus but for neighboring countries and the entire region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
