He also hinted at replacing the Houthis\u2019 slogan \u201cDeath to Israel\u201d with the Israeli flag being raised over Yemen\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This escalation follows the Israeli army\u2019s announcement on Thursday that it intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, while a drone struck the southern Israeli city of Eilat. The military stated that the Air Force also intercepted a second drone approaching from the east, while the Houthis claimed responsibility for carrying out \u201cthree military operations\u201d targeting Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel has recently intensified its airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen, including the capital Sana\u2019a and the port city of Hodeidah.
