United Nations Raises Its Flag at a Military Outpost in Quneitra Countryside to Strengthen Monitoring

The United Nations forces raised their flag on Wednesday at a military outpost in the village of Kudnah, in the Quneitra countryside, as part of an effort to reinforce their field presence in the area.
A military source said that the new post is expected to be used to monitor the security situation about one kilometer away from Israeli army positions on Tel Ahmar, within the framework of the UN’s efforts to ensure the stability of the front lines and prevent any potential escalation.
This step comes as part of the UN’s broader initiative to enhance its monitoring efforts along the border and in tension-prone areas of the Quneitra countryside, following repeated flare-ups between Israeli forces and local factions in the region.
