Turkish Military Movements in the Eastern Aleppo Countryside and Preparations for a Potential Battle Against Qasd

A military convoy affiliated with the Turkish occupation forces crossed the Bab al-Hawa border crossing and headed toward the city of Aleppo and its eastern countryside, reaching the Deir Hafer area, according to local sources.

According to the sources, instructions were issued to Turkey-loyal mercenaries requiring the removal of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from areas west of the Euphrates River, whether through political understandings or through military action, noting that this approach received the approval of the United States, Israel, and Turkey.

The sources added that the convoy heading to Deir Hafer includes weapons and advanced technological equipment, in addition to Turkish military experts, with the aim of training the mercenaries and preparing for an upcoming military phase, noting that the convoy continued its movement today toward the area.

In the same context, the mercenary Ali Naasan, the military official (Chief of Staff of what is known as the Transitional Government), called on all factions deployed along the contact lines with SDF forces to raise their level of readiness and prepare for battle, and to work on completing logistical shortages.

The sources mentioned that the factions that entered the Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Ashrafiyah neighborhoods will move to what they described as the second phase of the confrontation with SDF forces, with operations set to be launched from the areas of Deir Hafer, Athriya, and the Tishreen Dam, as part of a plan previously prepared under direct Turkish supervision.

On the other hand, information reported that a meeting was held in the Deir ez-Zor countryside between mercenary groups affiliated with the Damascus government and notables from the al-Bousaraya and al-Bakkara tribes in the Ayyash area, with the aim of coordination and unification against SDF forces in the region.
