Transitional Government Factions Shell Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital for the Second Time in Aleppo

Transitional government factions renewed their shelling of Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital in the Ashrafieh neighborhood of Aleppo city, targeting the hospital with heavy weapons for the second time, in a dangerous escalation affecting medical facilities.

Local sources reported that the shelling caused material damage to the hospital building and sparked a state of panic among patients and medical staff, at a time when the hospital continues to provide emergency services to the injured as a result of the ongoing shelling of residential neighborhoods.

This repeated targeting of health facilities comes amid continued attacks on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid, further exacerbating the humanitarian situation, threatening the lives of civilians, and hindering the work of medical teams.
