The General Command of the Women’s Protection Units discussed integration mechanisms with the Syrian Minister of Defense within the military institution.

The General Command of the Women’s Protection Units held a meeting with the Syrian Minister of Defense, Murhaf Abu Qasra, during which ways to integrate women’s forces into the Ministry of Defense and the Syrian army were discussed.

The meeting addressed the organizational and legal aspects related to the integration process, in addition to discussing the role of women and their participation in the military institution during the upcoming phase.

The Women’s Protection Units stated that the Minister of Defense showed flexibility in continuing dialogue on ensuring women’s participation within the military institution, noting that during the meeting they also called for the release of their captured female and male comrades.
