Tension in the Countryside of al-Bab After the Killing of a Child — Residents Demand Accountability

The countryside of al-Bab city in Aleppo province witnessed new security tensions following the killing of a young girl by gunfire from members affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government.
According to local sources, a number of residents gathered, demanding that those involved in the incident be held accountable and that an urgent investigation be opened. However, members of the “General Security” fired shots randomly into the air to disperse the protesters, causing panic among civilians.
Eyewitnesses indicated that the tension remains ongoing in the area, amid calls from residents for immediate measures to hold those responsible for the incident accountable and to ensure that such events are not repeated.
So far, no official statements have been issued by the Interim Government regarding the incident.
