Temperatures Continue to Drop, Stable Autumn Weather Prevails in Syria

Temperatures in Syria are continuing to drop, recording levels 2 to 4 degrees Celsius below the seasonal average in various regions. The weather remains generally stable and clear, with some scattered clouds, characteristic of the autumn season.
A dusty and hazy atmosphere prevails in the northern and eastern regions of Syria and the Badia due to active winds, which sometimes reach speeds of over 45 km/h, stirring up dust and sand in these areas.
According to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather will be relatively cool at night in most regions and noticeably cold in the mountainous highlands, with a possibility of fog formation in parts of the central region, the eastern Qalamoun, and the coastal highlands.
The winds will be southwest in the southern region and northwest in the rest of the regions, ranging from light to moderate, with active gusts in the north and east of the country. The sea will be light to moderate in wave height.
The Meteorology Department confirmed that the stable weather will continue, with no precipitation expected in the coming days, and temperatures will remain below average. There are indications of a possible gradual change in the weather approaching the middle of next week.
