Syria: Repeated Israeli Incursions in Rural Quneitra Amid Tension Among Residents

The village of Kodneh in central Quneitra countryside witnessed repeated incursions by Israeli forces on Monday within the ceasefire line, a move that sparked widespread tension among residents of the villages adjacent to the border.
Local sources said that an Israeli patrol consisting of six military vehicles entered the area located within the separation line in the morning before withdrawing toward the border strip. Shortly afterward, a second incursion was recorded along the same route, carried out by another patrol composed of several vehicles.
These movements come as part of a series of increased military activities by Israeli forces in southern Syria in recent weeks, according to local residents, who expressed concerns about a possible escalation and further violations of the ceasefire line.
