Security Forces in Al-Hol Camp Foil Escape Attempt from the Foreign Women’s Section

The internal security forces at Al-Hol camp, located south of Hasakah, announced that they thwarted an attempt to smuggle several women and children from the foreign women’s section on Wednesday evening, taking advantage of the dense fog that enveloped the camp.

According to information provided by the camp’s administration, a group of women affiliated with ISIS, of various nationalities, tried to escape during the night hours. The administration stated that the internal security forces were able to uncover and thwart the escape attempt.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 18 individuals, including women and children, as confirmed by the camp authorities.
