Saudi Arabia Announces Activation of 8 Investment Agreements with Syria Worth 8 Billion Riyals

Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih announced on Monday the activation of eight investment agreements with Syria, with a total value of 8 billion Saudi riyals, noting that the Kingdom will soon begin implementing the land linkage project between Riyadh and Damascus.
Al-Falih added that the “Elaf Fund”, a specialized investment vehicle dedicated to projects inside Syria, has been established to develop economic opportunities, emphasizing the Kingdom’s efforts to expand the phosphate sector and conduct feasibility studies for new projects within this field.
