Residents of North and East Syria Prepare to Head to Aleppo in Support of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh

Following the issuance of a statement by the Council of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods regarding the attacks targeting the neighborhoods since January 6, residents of North and East Syria have begun preparations to head toward the city of Aleppo.
In its statement, the council explained that the interim government and its mercenaries are seeking to impose surrender on residents and Internal Security Forces, commit massacres, and enforce a new wave of displacement, affirming the continuation of defending the neighborhoods and resisting the attacks.
In a supportive move, the Kurdish Red Crescent announced the dispatch of a medical and humanitarian convoy consisting of 15 vehicles toward Aleppo to provide assistance to those affected.
People’s councils in the cities also reported that residents of the Jazira, Deir ez-Zor, Tabqa, Raqqa, and Euphrates regions have begun preparing to move toward Aleppo in support of the population there. According to available information, all targeted cities are preparing to head toward Aleppo in the coming days.
