Qatar Reassesses Its Mediator Role

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani announced that the Israeli attack has prompted Doha to conduct a “comprehensive reassessment” of its mediation role and the future presence of Hamas in Qatar. He affirmed that the strike “ended any hope” related to the hostage issue, while also noting that a regional response is currently being discussed in coordination with other partners.
