Details of the Protest
During the demonstration, protesters threw stones at the Turkish military checkpoint and placed tires in front of its entrance in an attempt to block the entry of personnel. The Turkish forces responded by firing tear gas grenades to disperse the demonstrators, amid a security alert from public security forces around the site.
