One Killed in Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon

A man was killed on Sunday morning in an Israeli drone strike that targeted a civilian vehicle on the Baysariyeh highway in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon, according to local media reports.
The strike caused the car to burst into flames, prompting Civil Defense teams to rush to the scene to extinguish the fire, as Israeli drones continued to hover intensively over the area.
This attack follows a similar strike on Saturday evening in the town of Houmin al-Fawqa, which also resulted in one fatality, as part of a series of assaults that have hit southern Lebanon in recent days.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army or Lebanese authorities regarding the incident, while tensions continue to escalate along Lebanon’s southern border with Israel.
