New Israeli Military Movements Near the Separation Line in Quneitra

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli military unit carried out a limited and temporary incursion on Saturday morning into the village of Eastern al-Samadaniyah in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria.
According to the Observatory, the Israeli force consisted of two tanks, seven military vehicles, and a bulldozer, advancing toward the al-Saqari checkpoint road between the towns of Jabba and Khan Arnabah, before moving in the direction of the Peace Highway (Autostrada al-Salam).
The move came a day after Israeli forces installed a metal gate in Western al-Samadaniyah, an action locals viewed as the establishment of a permanent checkpoint inside the village, sparking widespread public discontent in the area, the source added.
The incursion also took place amid ongoing Israeli violations along the southern Syrian border strip, according to the Observatory, which further noted that earlier, Israeli forces fired artillery shells from their Tal al-Ahmar al-Gharbi base near the town of Kodnah toward wooded areas surrounding Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi, without reports of casualties or material damage.
