New Israeli Incursions in the Rural of Quneitra

Southern rural Quneitra, has witnessed a new Israeli incursion this morning, as six military and armored vehicles entered from the direction of the village of Bariqa, passing through the villages of Ain al-Darb and Kodnah, and reaching the outskirts of Kamouniyah, amid intensive reconnaissance aircraft flights over the area.

According to local sources, these movements came just one day after an Israeli force set up a military checkpoint on the road between Al-Samadaniyah and Al-Ajraf, accompanied by a wide state of security alert.

These developments were preceded by raids and house searches between the villages of Bariqa and Beer Ajam, amid helicopter flights over southern Syria, which stirred tension and concern among local residents.

These repeated incursions come at a sensitive time for the border region, amid fears of a new escalation on the ground.
