Military Tensions East of Aleppo: Mutual Reinforcements Between Government Forces and SDF

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the arrival of new military reinforcements belonging to the Syrian Interim Government forces in the city of Manbij, in eastern Aleppo countryside. Armored vehicles loaded with weapons and equipment entered amid a heavy security presence inside the city.

In response, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reinforced their positions by deploying heavy weapons to the frontlines near Deir Hafer, announcing a state of security and military alert.

This escalation comes amid a tense atmosphere in the region, with fears of a new round of clashes between the two sides.
