Mazlum Abdi: We Open the Door for the Return of Those Who Left Our Ranks and Promise to Re-Empower Them

The General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazlum Abdi, called on the youth who had left the institutions of the Autonomous Administration, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) to return and reclaim their previous positions within the institutions of North and East Syria.

Abdi stated that the Autonomous Administration will provide full support to returnees to restore their status and continue their role in serving the community, emphasizing that efforts are ongoing to return the residents of Afrin, Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain), and Khabur (Tel Abyad) to their lands.

He added that the current steps aim to strengthen social cohesion and rebuild the region’s institutions, noting that the return will take place within regulatory mechanisms that consider security and administrative aspects.
