Mazloum Abdi Calls on the People to Rally Around the Fighters

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, addressed a call to the people, saying: “We call on our people to rally around their sons, our fighters, and to embody the spirit of courage and faith.” He affirmed that efforts to achieve a ceasefire are ongoing with the assistance of international parties.
Abdi explained to Hawar News Agency that the systematic attacks on Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo began on January 6 and continued to spread to areas of northern and eastern Syria, including Tabqa, the southern countryside of Raqqa, and Deir ez-Zor.
He added: “Despite all our attempts and efforts to halt the escalation and work toward de-escalation, the attacks are still ongoing up to now.”
The Commander-in-Chief revealed: “We announce to our people that our efforts to work toward de-escalation and a ceasefire are continuing with the assistance of international parties. Therefore, we call on our people to rally around their sons, our fighters, and to embody the spirit of courage and faith.”
