Marches Spread Across North and East Syria in Solidarity with Residents of Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafieh

Several cities and regions in north and east Syria witnessed popular marches today in solidarity with the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods in Aleppo, following recent events in the area.
According to our agency’s reporters, participants in the marches carried slogans calling for de-escalation and restraint, emphasizing the importance of Syrian unity and rejecting any actions that could threaten civil peace.
The demonstrators also expressed their solidarity with civilians affected by the recent tensions, demanding the opening of dialogue channels among all parties to prevent the situation from worsening.
These movements come at a time when Aleppo is experiencing escalating security tensions following intermittent clashes between the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and members of the Public Security affiliated with the Interim Government around the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.
