Israeli Patrol Incursion in Quneitra Countryside and Establishment of a Temporary Checkpoint

An Israeli army patrol infiltrated, on Monday, the Jabbana al-Khashab – Ayn al-Bayda road in the northern Quneitra countryside, inside Syrian territory, and set up a temporary military checkpoint in the area.

Local sources reported that the patrol spread without any reports of clashes with locals or injuries, while a state of tension and caution prevailed in the area surrounding the road.

The sources added that Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the skies of Damascus countryside, Quneitra, and western Daraa countryside, coinciding with the military incursion.
