Israeli Military Incursions and Deployment in the Countryside of Daraa and Quneitra

On Friday, the countryside areas of Daraa and Quneitra witnessed Israeli military movements, including incursions and the establishment of temporary checkpoints.

An Israeli military force entered the village of Ma’riya in the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside and set up a temporary checkpoint on the eastern side of the village, where passersby were inspected. Additional personnel were reported to have deployed towards the villages of Kuwaya and Abdeen.

In Quneitra countryside, an Israeli patrol comprising five military vehicles penetrated the village of Eastern Samadaniyah and established a checkpoint to search civilians, coinciding with the deployment of soldiers around the village and drone flights overhead.

These developments come amid recurring Israeli maneuvers along Syria’s southern border strip, which have been observed recently in various locations across the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra.
