Israeli incursions in Quneitra countryside force farmers to leave their lands

The Syrian official television reported that Israeli forces dropped smoke bombs on farmers in Harsh Jubana al-Khashab, north of Quneitra countryside, forcing residents to leave their lands. They also detained an agricultural tractor belonging to one of the farmers.
Sources confirmed that these incidents are part of repeated incursions and attacks on Syrian territory over the past few days. The Quneitra countryside has witnessed several Israeli incursions, including:
September 28: Incursions in the southern countryside with shelling of residents’ homes.
September 18: Digging and erecting earthworks in eastern Tal al-Ahmar.
September 17: Arresting four young men in several areas during raids and house searches in Khan Arnaba, Khiyam al-Khashab, and Offanya.
These developments come as Syria and Israel have been in a state of actual war since 1948, despite periods of intermittent calm. According to sources, Israel abandoned the 1974 ceasefire agreement last December, continuing its incursions into the demilitarized zone over the months and approaching strategic Syrian sites, including locations about 20 kilometers from Damascus.
Previous efforts to reach a security agreement between Damascus and Tel Aviv stalled at the last minute, according to informed Syrian sources last week.
