Israeli Gunfire Toward a Site in the Countryside of Quneitra

Local sources said that Israeli forces, late on Tuesday night, fired heavy machine-gun rounds and illumination flares toward Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in the southern countryside of Quneitra.

According to the sources, the targeting was carried out from Israeli military positions stationed at Tal al-Ahmar al-Gharbi and continued intermittently, coinciding with military movements near the lines of contact in the area.

The sources added that the incident caused a state of tension and concern among local residents, while no confirmed information has yet been reported regarding human casualties or material damage.

The security situation remains tense in the vicinity of the area at the time of preparing this report, amid anticipation of any new field developments, in light of the escalation of repeated tension incidents in the Quneitra countryside during the recent period.
