Israeli force sets up a military checkpoint inside the village of Ain Zivan in the Quneitra countryside

Field sources reported that an Israeli military force advanced today into the village of Ain Zivan in the Quneitra countryside, near the border with the occupied Golan.
The sources said that the patrol, consisting of five military vehicles, entered the village coming from the direction of the Tel Ahmar al-Gharbi base and set up a checkpoint on the main road, where it checked civilians’ identities and searched vehicles and passersby.
The sources added that the move caused a state of tension and caution among the village’s residents, without any information reported about clashes or arrests.
This incursion comes as part of repeated Israeli movements in recent times in Syrian areas adjacent to the ceasefire line, which have included the establishment of temporary observation points and the conduct of sweep operations, amid the absence of any declared Syrian military response.
