International Coalition Patrol Heads Toward Deir Hafer, East of Aleppo, Amid Military Escalation

A patrol belonging to the International Coalition forces headed from its bases in Raqqa toward the city of Deir Hafer in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, in a notable move that coincides with escalating military tensions in the area.

This field tour comes at a time when Deir Hafer and its surroundings are witnessing a marked military escalation, following the announcement by the mercenaries of the transitional government that the city is a military zone three days ago.

The Syrian Observatory is monitoring the movement of the International Coalition patrol in a hot contact area, in parallel with mutual shelling and ongoing military mobilizations by the mercenaries of the transitional government, amid fears of an expansion of military operations in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
