Hezbollah Reequips Its Missile Stockpiles as Israel Weighs Escalation Options

Israel’s Channel 13 reported today that intelligence assessments indicate Lebanese Hezbollah has regained part of its military capabilities and succeeded in smuggling hundreds of missiles through Syria.

International newspapers, including The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times, reported that the group is restocking missiles, artillery, and anti-tank weapons. Some of these arms are being smuggled through seaports and unofficial routes that remain partially operational in Syria, while others are being manufactured domestically.

Sources also confirmed that charities affiliated with Hezbollah have continued to receive financial transfers through digital payment service providers in Lebanon, such as Wish Money and OMT, to support their social activities and military programs.

Israel’s Broadcasting Authority noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding consultations regarding the group’s efforts to rebuild its defensive and offensive infrastructure, as Israel assesses the possibility of intensifying its military operations in Lebanon.
