Heightened Security Tension in Al-Muhajireen Neighborhood in Homs Following Armed Attack
The Al-Muhajireen neighborhood in the city of Homs is witnessing escalating security tension after an attack carried out by armed individuals, according to local residents.
Residents said the attack involved random gunfire in the streets, as well as the raiding of homes and the vandalism of several shops in the Al-Basel suburb of the neighborhood. Some residents indicated that the attackers belong to local tribal groups, although no official confirmation has been issued regarding the identity of the responsible party.
