French Police Investigate French Organization over Syrian Crimes

French police raided the headquarters of the organization “SOS Chrétiens d’Orient” (Christians of the East) in Paris, as part of an ongoing investigation since 2020, based on suspicions of complicity in committing crimes against humanity and war crimes in Syria.

The organization, which denies these accusations, affirmed that it works to provide aid to Christians in the region.

This action comes amid increasing international judicial efforts to investigate crimes committed during the Syrian conflict.
