Explosion in Rural Al-Shaddadi Kills One and Seriously Injures Another

One person was killed and another seriously injured in an explosion, likely caused by an old landmine left behind by ISIS. The incident occurred on Monday morning on the bridge of Al-Haddadiyah village in the countryside of Al-Shaddadi, south of Al-Hasakah.

Local sources reported that the explosion resulted in the immediate death of one individual, while the other sustained a severe leg injury, leading to amputation due to the intensity of the blast. The explosion also caused material damage at the site.

As of now, local authorities have not issued any official statement regarding the incident.
