Drone strikes in Sweida constitute a new breach of the ceasefire

The province of Sweida witnessed a new breach of the ceasefire on Tuesday after drone aircraft belonging to the Transitional Government forces targeted several locations in the vicinity of the town of Asliam, north of the city of Sweida.

According to local sources, the strike occurred on the outskirts of the town, with no confirmed information yet regarding casualties, injuries, or material damage, amid a state of tension that has prevailed in the area since this morning.

This incident comes as part of a series of repeated ceasefire violations in the villages of Sweida and the city’s neighborhoods, increasing residents’ fears of an escalation in the region.
