Destruction of Two Tanks and Foiling an Attempted Advance by Mercenaries of the Transitional Government at Tishrin Dam

The Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units destroyed two tanks belonging to the mercenaries of the Transitional Government in Syria and foiled their attempt to advance in the vicinity of Tishrin Dam in the Euphrates Canton, while the attacks are still ongoing up to now.

Field military sources reported that the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units managed to repel attacks launched by the mercenaries of the Transitional Government in Syria on the surroundings of Tishrin Dam, and thwarted their attempts to advance in the area.

At the same time, the sources indicated that the mercenaries are preparing to launch a new attack after bringing a number of tanks to the vicinity of the dam.

On the other hand, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units continue to respond forcefully, using medium weapons and suicide drones, having so far succeeded in destroying two tanks and an armored vehicle, while clashes are still ongoing in the area.
