Damascus Welcomes Four New Ambassadors and Receives Their Credentials

The Syrian Transitional Government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs received the credentials of four new ambassadors to the Syrian Arab Republic today, Saturday, during an official ceremony held at the ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Damascus.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry stated in a post on its official platform on “X” that Foreign Minister Dr. Faisal Mekdad received the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Al-Majfel, Armenia, Ruben Kharazian, Italy, Stefano Ravacian, and Bangladesh, Noor Helal Saifur Rahman, and accepted their credentials.

This comes as part of a series of diplomatic meetings held by the Syrian Transitional Government to strengthen its foreign relations. In September, Syrian Transitional President Ahmad Al-Sharaa received the ambassadors of Mauritania, Somalia, Jordan, and Algeria, and accepted their credentials in an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
