Cooperation Between the Syrian Network and the Missing Persons Authority to Follow Up on the Enforced Disappearances Case

Damascus – The Syrian Network for Human Rights held a joint meeting with the National Authority for Missing Persons, aiming to enhance cooperation in following up on the file of thousands of enforced disappearances in Syria.
Exchange of Information and Expertise
The two parties agreed to exchange available data and expertise, contributing to uncovering the fate of the missing and documenting violations related to enforced disappearances.
Supporting Affected Families
Both sides emphasized the importance of providing necessary support to the families of the missing by keeping them informed of developments and offering the required psychological and legal assistance.
Ending the Humanitarian Tragedy
This cooperation comes as part of national and international efforts aimed at ending the enforced disappearance issue in Syria, and working towards achieving justice and redress for the victims and their families.
