Civilians Injured in Drone Strike by the Transitional Government Near Bani Zaid Neighborhood in Aleppo

Two civilians were injured with varying degrees of wounds as a result of a strike carried out by a drone belonging to the transitional government, which targeted the vicinity of the Bani Zaid neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, according to local sources, amid attempts to provide medical aid to the injured and evacuate them from the site of the strike.
Video footage showed two civilians injured by the strike, seen lying face down on one of the neighborhood’s streets, while their cries for help could be heard due to the severity of their pain. The clips also documented attempts by Internal Security forces to evacuate the injured from the area and provide them with first aid.
According to the sources, the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid are being subjected to heavy shelling with various types of weapons, which has so far resulted in the deaths of 8 people, most of them women and children, in addition to injuring 57 others with varying degrees of wounds.
The sources indicated that the death toll is likely to rise amid the continued attacks, as fear and anxiety prevail among residents with the escalating pace of shelling and the targeting of residential areas.
