Artillery Shelling Renews on Residential Neighborhoods in the City of Aleppo

Local sources reported that the Ashrafieh neighborhood and the surroundings of al-Sharqi Mosque in the city of Aleppo were subjected to continuous artillery shelling carried out by forces affiliated with the transitional government, using tanks, coinciding with military movements that included a heavy deployment of heavy machinery in the vicinity of the area.

The sources stated that the shelling targeted areas inhabited by civilians, which caused a state of anxiety and fear among residents. As of now, no official information has been issued confirming the occurrence of casualties or specifying the extent of material damage, amid ongoing tension and field escalation in the city.
