Aleppo Governor Announces Comprehensive Ceasefire Agreement
Aleppo Governor Azzam Al-Ghreib announced today, Tuesday, a comprehensive ceasefire agreement in the city, following the events that unfolded in Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods last night. The agreement aims to de-escalate tensions and ensure the safety of civilians.
The governor emphasized the commitment to implementing the March 10 agreement, which prioritizes protecting civilians and preventing further bloodshed. Efforts are currently underway to assess the situation on the ground, address damages, and restore normal life in the affected areas.
This development comes after Defense Minister Marah Abou Kaseer announced a ceasefire agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) leader, General Mazlum Abdi, covering all military axes and deployment points in northern and northeastern Syria.
