Al-Hasakah Receives 35 Wounded Men and Women from the Residents of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh

Today, 35 wounded men and women from the residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods arrived in the city of Al-Hasakah in the Jazira Canton, after being evacuated from those neighborhoods during the early hours of dawn. More wounded are expected to arrive in the coming hours.

According to medical sources, the wounded civilians were transferred directly to Martyr Sariya Hospital in Al-Hasakah to receive the necessary treatment, confirming that preparations are ongoing to receive additional cases.

This comes in the aftermath of the attacks carried out by mercenaries of the interim government affiliated with the Turkish occupying state on the predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in the city of Aleppo since January 6, during which various types of heavy weapons were used to shell residential areas.

The area also witnessed, according to the sources, a number of attacks carried out by drones belonging to the Turkish occupying state, resulting in the killing of dozens of civilians and the injury of hundreds more.
