A number of residents of the city of Qamishlo organized a protest vigil today to demand clarification of the fate of prisoners and detainees, as well as their immediate release, amid growing calls from families to bring this humanitarian issue to an end.

The vigil witnessed broad participation from relatives of the prisoners and civil society groups, with protesters raising banners and placards calling for the disclosure of their places of detention and ensuring their release without delay. Participants stressed that the continued uncertainty surrounding the fate of the prisoners only deepens the suffering of their families, urging the relevant authorities to take urgent measures and respond immediately to these demands.
