Internal Security Forces Carry Out Specialized Operations Against Mercenaries of the Transitional Government in Defense of Sheikh Maqsoud Neighborhood

A number of members of the Internal Security Forces carried out specialized operations targeting mercenaries of the transitional government, as part of confronting the attacks targeting the residents of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and threatening to commit massacres against civilians.

According to available information, armed groups affiliated with the transitional government are launching violent attacks on the neighborhood in an attempt to impose a new military reality, amid continuous shelling and direct targeting of residential areas.

In this context, members of the Internal Security Forces confronted these attacks with bravery and carried out specialized operations aimed at protecting civilians and preventing massacres, resulting in heavy losses in lives and equipment among the attackers.

Sources confirmed that the resistance is still ongoing, and that the Internal Security Forces continue to fulfill their duty in defending the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and ensuring their protection amid the ongoing military escalation.
