American Senator: There is evidence that Syrian security forces are more radical

Senator Lindsey Graham said on Wednesday that there is evidence that security forces in the Syrian transitional government are “more radical.”
Graham added in a tweet on the (X) platform: “Although I support attempts to help this new government in Syria, we must do so with great caution.”
He explained: “There is increasing evidence that Syrian security forces are more radical than they are portrayed.”
Senator Lindsey Graham’s remarks came in response to chants related to Gaza that were shouted by members of the Syrian army during a military parade marking the anniversary of “Liberation Day.”
Last Monday, the Israeli army said that security agencies had detected footage from open networks showing soldiers from the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian transitional government chanting in support of Gaza and against Israel.
The Republican senator said that Israel is right to insist on security zones that not only protect Israel but also safeguard minorities in Syria, such as the Druze
