Explosions Reported Near Beit Jinn Following Drone Strike

Local sources reported that a drone carried out a strike this evening targeting areas around the town of Beit Jinn, southwest of Damascus, by launching three missiles at the vital road connecting the town to Tal Bat al-Ward. No official information has yet been released regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.
Local residents added that people in nearby villages heard three consecutive explosions caused by the missiles that landed in the vicinity of the town, while no official Syrian statement has been issued regarding the nature of the attack or the party responsible.
Some residents speculate that the drone may have been Israeli, though this has not been confirmed by independent sources.
This strike comes about a week after a similar attack in the same area, when a drone targeted a site near Beit Jinn. According to local reports at the time, the attack resulted in deaths and injuries, in addition to wounding several Israeli soldiers during clashes that followed the operation.
Residents of the area emphasize that the repeated attacks have increasingly targeted mountain roads and vital passages connecting Beit Jinn with its surroundings, amid growing concerns that military operations may escalate in the coming period.
