Israeli Incursions and Raids in Rural Quneitra

Local sources in Quneitra Province reported that Israeli forces carried out a raid in the village of Ofaniya in the province’s countryside during the past hours, entering one of the houses and searching it — an incident that has raised concerns among local residents amid the absence of any official position regarding the operation.
This raid comes within a series of Israeli military movements witnessed in the province yesterday, as incursions by military vehicles were observed in various areas of the central and southern countryside.
According to the sources, seven Israeli armored vehicles and troop carriers entered the town of Be’er Ajam in Quneitra’s central countryside, while another group was stationed in the village of al-Ruwayhaniyah in the same area. Another incursion consisting of nine military vehicles was recorded north of Kodana Dam near Ain Ziwan in the southern countryside, without reports so far of arrests or additional searches.
This repeated activity is causing concern among residents in the border areas, amid rising tension resulting from ongoing violations and frequent military movements, which local sources consider part of a continuous series of operations by Israeli forces in the south of the country.
