Unstable Weather and Rainfall Across Various Syrian Regions Today

Various regions of Syria are witnessing, today (Tuesday), a state of unstable weather accompanied by a drop in temperatures and varying levels of rainfall, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology in the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management.

The Directorate stated that the country was affected last night by relatively cold weather in most areas, and even colder conditions in the mountainous highlands, amid continued temperature decline and relative weather stability.

Temperatures are expected to drop during the day by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius below their averages in most regions, while remaining around the seasonal average in the Northeast Syria region, with partly cloudy skies gradually turning cloudy.

Cold nighttime conditions will continue, especially in high-altitude areas, while northerly winds will blow across central and southern regions, and easterly to southeasterly winds in other areas, with active gusts exceeding 40 km/h on the coast, where the sea will be moderately rough.
