New Israeli Incursion in Quneitra Countryside Following Military Drills in the Golan

The central countryside of Quneitra witnessed a new Israeli incursion in the Tel Kroom area on Monday–Tuesday night, according to local sources, amid concerns over expanding military movements in southern Syria.
The sources said that Israeli forces prevented residents of the village of Al-Hamidiya in northern Quneitra countryside from carrying out maintenance work on the water-pumping line adjacent to the village, which disrupted efforts to rehabilitate the line and secure water for the population.
This move came after the Israeli army launched sudden military exercises in the Golan Heights that included explosions and movements of ground and air forces, and are scheduled to continue until today.
This incursion adds to a series of repeated movements in the area, as the village of Kodnah witnessed yesterday the entry of Israeli military vehicles within the ceasefire line, causing a state of tension and fear among residents of villages near the border.
These movements continue without any official comment or response from the Interim Government in Syria.
