Israel: Hezbollah Member Killed in Airstrike in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli army said it carried out an airstrike on a car in the town of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of Mohammad Ali Shweikh, whom the army identifies as a Hezbollah member.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee published a video that he said documents the moment the attack was carried out by a drone, adding that Shweikh was, according to the Israeli account, responsible for local coordination tasks between Hezbollah and residents of the area.

The Israeli army confirmed that its operations will continue against what it describes as threats originating from southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the strike resulted in the death of one civilian, without providing additional details regarding his identity, amid ongoing tension along the southern border between the two sides.
