Quneitra: New Israeli Incursion and Search Operations Restrict Civilian Movement

An Israeli army force advanced on Tuesday toward the village of Eastern Al-Samdaniyah in the central countryside of Quneitra, establishing a temporary military post in the area, according to local sources.

A local source told North Press Agency that the Israeli force consisted of three military vehicles — two “Hummer” vehicles and one “Hilux” — which entered from the Al-Hamidiyah checkpoint, established after the fall of the Assad regime, and headed toward the village of Eastern Al-Samdaniyah.

The source added that the Israeli force “inspected several buses and prevented them from continuing their route,” noting that residents in the area stopped moving near the military post out of fear of arrest. The post reportedly remained in place at the time this report was prepared.

Towns in the Quneitra countryside have been witnessing near-daily Israeli incursions, accompanied by thorough searches of homes and vehicles, as well as arrests of local residents who are reportedly taken to unknown destinations, according to local sources.
